One of my many ‘grandfathers’ is an over ambitious man who, for the past years, I have known him as a man with an oversized ego. He believes that the world shouldn’t shape ideas but ideas should hover and reign over the world. While extremely short, he resists admitting the reality of his physique. He resists believing that someone younger than him could be taller than him. At fifteen, I was tall enough to tower over him. I noticed how uncomfortable I made him feel when we conversed.
