MZUZU--MBC TV, Malawi's state-owned public television is now beaming on Digital Satellite Television (DStv), Multichoice Malawi Sales and Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda has confirmed.
"We're pleased to announce the launch of Malawi TV on our DTH platform. The channel is now to the Premium, Compact+, Compact, Family, Access & all Combination bounquets on the IS20 platform in Malawi," said Nyirenda.
According to Nyirenda, MBC TV is now available on channel 295 and joins other state-owned television stations under the free to air programme which include Swazi TV and NBC from Namibia.
Nyirenda said that even when subscribers are disconnected to DStv, they will still be able to watch MBC TV. The channel has been switched on from 11:00 am Monday, 18th February 2013.
