Malawi National Football team coach Ronny Van Geneugden may now promise happy moments to Flames fans as MultiChoice Malawi has donated an Explora Decoder to him so that he can monitor football players playing in South African’s Absa PSL.
The decorder, which comes with free subscription, has a recording facility. This means that the Flames coach will watch matches at the same time record them record matches.
The decoder will give Van Geneugden a chance to watch and record matches involving Flames’ opponents in the forthcoming 2019 AFCON qualifiers and Cosafa Cup..
FAM Commercial and Marketing Director Limbani Matola said the Association is very grateful to MultiChoice Malawi for accepting this strategic partnership.
“This is a strong statement that the private sector in Malawi is keen to contribute towards football development in this country. It underlines the fact that the responsibility of the national team is a collective one and not just for the government,” Matola said.
Matola added: “We look forward to more of these strategic partnerships.”
The Flames has lately made headlines after it lost to Madagascar. And just few days ago, Fifa website named the Flames as a worst performing team in the month of March and Fifa moved it from position 100 to 114 in the world.
