Malawi E-wallet talent show: Wakhumbachi Kalua wins!

MZUZU—The Blantyre based Wakhumbachi Kalua ,emerged the winner of the 2012-2013 E-wallet talent show after outclassing two other finalists Guise Pemba and Taonga Kanthungo Saturday night at Mount Soche hotel in Blantyre . Kalua received a grand prize of K0.5 million and a recording deal sponsored by Multi-choice Malawi.
The 17 year old Kalua was all smiles and was short of words, “I don’t know what to say”, said an excited Kalua.
The competition which started few months ago saw contestants being evicted all the way to the finals. Some of the evicted contestants include Eric Matewere, Tiwonge Soko, The Elements Dance Crew, The Floor Steppers and Goma Nyondo.
