BLANTYRE--Creators of a list of Malawian sexmaniacs posted on Facebook recently can’t be traced prompting many to speculate that the list was made out of malice.

The list hasn’t been officially published by anyone, although it’s been circulating since last week. Several publications know about it but don’t have the nerve to publish it apparently because its authors are anonymous.

The site said the 52 females whose names were revealed were the "type who just can't close their legs."

Men also made the list, 32 of them, and some were said to be CEOs.

A fake Facebook of Pres Joyce Banda was once created and Malawi Police are trying to find out who was behind it.

Anybody can post anything, including lies, on Facebook and it’s not easy to know those responsible.

Legally, social networking sites like Facebook are beyond the reach of Malawi laws, especially the Penal Code, hammered out before independence in 1964 when the new forms of communication used today were non-existent then.
