Comfort, comfort my people – the Malawi prophecies 2012 to 2016

Introduction:
The Maravi Post caught up with Prophet Austin Liabunya, who says he has been and continues to receive visions from the Lord God on Malawi’s future.
Through this interview he has in addition to clarifying previous prophecies, revealed that on 3rd March 2013, during the Sunday service of his ministry, he will deliver a major prophecy. The interview reproduced below, the Maravi Post and the Prophet focussed on his previous announced prophecies.
Unedited – except for the numbering of the prophecies to make them separately identifiable, below is what according to Prophet Austin Liabunya’s vision, lies in store for Malawi.
Prophecy No 1: November 12, 2011
“On 12 November last year I gave a prophecy of what would happen in Malawi in 2012, and when this prophecy was fulfilled and the new government came in I also foretold Malawians what would follow. During my prophecy I said Malawi would experience what I referred to as "Transient Change" (meaning a change for a short period of time). And this is exactly what is happening now. But the question now is: What does the future hold for Malawi?”
The Maravi Post: Now hold on a minute Prophet. Can you recall and recount how your prophecy of November 12, 2011 was accepted by Malawians in general and by those in authority?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “Actually I cannot say the prophecy was accepted. I would say roughly, 75% of the feedback, was negative. So I can say it was mostly received with criticism contrary to my expectations.”
Prophecy No 2: Period October to December 2012
“There will be 2 more devaluations taking place secretly as there has already been other devaluations that took place secretly but people will not know this until the time of campaign when politicians who will break away from the party will begin to reveal in their rallies and this year will end up in chaos with unnecessary deaths, robbery, increased strikes, accidents and unexpected firings from positions.”
The Maravi Post: A moment Prophet, is this phenomenon you call ‘devaluations taking place secretly’ not obvious given the fact that the Government decided to float the Kwacha? And that since Malawi does not have reserves, the Kwacha was bound devalue further?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “Spiritual matters are best understood spiritually. So my explanation may not seem to make sense if viewed from a human perspective. God gave me the message as it is. I would ask you or the nation to wait till some things come to their time of manifestation.
You may have noted that I have said that revelations will be made during campaigns. This is the time we will exactly know what happened despite having an obvious flotation of the currency. Even some people who are close to government know that the two prophesied kwacha devaluation really took place within the prophesied period of October to December.”
The Maravi Post: Can you be more specific on the ‘breakaway’ because as far as we can see the ruling party at least between October to December 2012 was and still is intact? Or is this prophecy yet to come to pass?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “If you can understand here I’m talking about it would be revealed by people who will break away, which means this will happen in the future and not within the October to December timeframe as you think.”
Prophecy No 3:
“According to what I saw, things are going to be worse than they were with the former government; reaching a point where the leading party will split into three; one faction led by the highest member who will be fired as a result of popular voice and pressure, one led by the leader herself and the other one led by a northerner.
And I saw like the highest member of the party quitting and he begun talking against the party and revealed some of the secrets they used to change the faces on money and replaced the face with heroes of freedom of the past instead of one face that was planned to be there.
According to the vision, by 2014 the party will completely contain new leading faces with one leading minister who will be made vice-president during elections.
There will be demonstrations in 2013 like it has never been seen before, organized by northerners to oust the government or to quit to the point that I saw the leader collapsing and the leader was seen in Nigeria.
Foreign countries will intervene pleading with people to just hold their peace saying elections are near and the people will almost listen.
According to the vision, 2014 elections will be the worst of all elections happened in Malawi because I saw something like counting again, like re-elections because 3 political parties will clash claiming each of them has won and this will lead to loss of lives.”
The Maravi Post: So far demonstrations witnessed in Malawi have been led by Mr. John Kapito from Thyolo and Mr. Elijah Kamphinda Banda. These are not from the north. Are you implying that Malawi is yet to witness the northerners, most of whom are now extolling the government, turn around cause demonstrations and why?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “It doesn’t mean that the demonstrations will be necessarily led by Northerners only no. What it means here is that whatever will be happening about that will mostly be organized and led by northerners and you are about to witness that.”
The Maravi Post: From which region, if you can tell, will the leading minister to be made vice-president during the elections come from? And can you be more specific?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “No, it is not acceptable by God for me to be exact to avoid tension, but I know the person because God showed me even the person who will take the presidency in 2014 but I will speak out when God allows me but for now just understand that this person who will take the vice presidency is somebody who will abandon his party by conviction not that he will want because as of now I see him still in his party. Of course they are trying to convince him now but he is confused because it’s like two parties want him, don’t worry it will come out soon.”
Prophecy No 4: General Elections 2014
“After battles of recounting, I saw a face, but this one has just changed his denomination for political reasons, the party was once in power and its coming again but with struggles but this will only change this for a year but then he will promote the worship of Satan.
But I saw the vice-leader changed in 2013 and he joined the party that will win and the one who was the vice I saw him fired in 2013 and was not replaced by the one many people are expecting or suggesting but this vice will be somebody who abandoned the party he founded himself because I saw the party being scattered in 2013 with many high members quitting as I said already before, and unnecessary changes of positions next year.”
The Maravi Post: Prophet, with due respect, three parties the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), the United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) have been in power in Malawi before the current Peoples Party (PP). The leader of MCP is as of now Hon J.Z.U. Tembo – CCAP; UDF is led by Atupele Muluzi – a Moslem; and Peter Mutharika (also CCAP) is currently leading the DPP. None of these, as far as we are aware, has changed churches recently. Are you implying that the winner of 2014 will be none of these?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “If I tell you the person then you have already known who will take the presidency which I don’t want to do at the moment as instructed by God. You will find this out yourself. But the fact is: this person changed denominations after it was told to him that he will take over by his brother. But he has to be very careful because if the election is rigged, he may not win although I saw him having many votes.”
The Maravi Post: Again Prophet, with due respect, can you define this “Satanism” what strange things exactly will this ‘satanic’ leader introduce and how Christians and Moslems will react to this development?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “Many foreign cultures will enter in Malawi because of him because of the life he has grown. And this is when homosexuality, gay associations, and other things will become common in Malawi. Many foreign people will come and they are the ones who will introduce satanic practices as mentioned above. This is what I meant by Satanism. And one denomination will be on the leading role in resisting this and these will be the Islamic Religion (i.e. Moslems).”
Prophecy No 5: Two deaths
“And then I also saw Malawi and another Western country in sorrow. This is terrible! This is another big sorrow in Malawi but it was after he was declared well, it’s sudden!
But this foreign death is very affecting because it has actually already happened though he is still breathing. His death is the most terrible in his country because I saw like the same as what happened in Malawi , the only difference was that there will be another elections demanded while others will say no need there is already a companion and in this case it will not be the vice president taking the presidency like I prophesied it would happen with Malawi, but it will be a different politician taking over after elections, he is old and at least this one will bring back the value of the local currency.
His death will be announced after a week upon arrival from out that he was taken to for treatment.
All I have to say about this is: Lets pray & intercede for our nation, Malawi and other countries to the West of Malawi; God should have mercy on us, comfort and guide us through this period.
If you want to prove what I prophesied last year concerning this year, 2012, just go down this wall to 12 November 2011 and witness that God is as well using not only foreign prophets but also local prophets for His glory.
Share this prophecy with others so that we can stand together in prayers for our Nation - 2 Chronicles 7:14. And the Angel of the Lord warned me....."let all Malawians know this so that they can stick to their salvation or get one if they have not yet confessed the Lordship of Jesus Christ, it’s just signs if end time...."
The Maravi Post: Is this an old or a new prophecy? And what has a foreign president’s death got to do with Malawi?
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “This is a new prophecy and the death has not yet happened. This will come to pass in that foreign country this year and it will affect Malawi because we are in a close partnership with that country.”
The Maravi Post: And you say “and in this case it will not be the vice president taking the presidency like I prophesied it would happen with Malawi, but it will be a different politician taking over after elections, he is old and at least this one will bring back the value of the local currency.” How will that transpire given the fact that we have a constitution that mandates the vice president to take over? Won’t this takeover by this old man cause problems?”
Prophet Austin Liabunya: “This prophecy is not for Malawi but for a foreign country as I have said, please understand this.”
Prophet Austin Liabunya’s concluding Remarks:
“Let me thank you for your curiosity to know the truth and it’s good to ask than what many are doing by going around castigating me. Castigating me cannot help us because God can use anyone He wants to deliver this Nation. And I’m just a vessel of God and I will continue speaking what God is telling me to speak without fear.
And I’m ready to enter into discussion with the government and reveal what God told me and what can see us out of this mess because there are other secrets I have not mentioned in the solutions to the current situation because God not allow me to.
I’m just waiting for their call to hear me man to man. And I’m even ready to answer any questions where you don’t understand the prophecies. I’m free for interviews or questionnaires should the right channels be followed.
The prophecy I have given aims at bringing the Malawi Nation together in fasting and prayer and turning back to God as before. And I will be prophesying more things about Malawi and I’m yet to release another brand new prophecy on 3 March 2013 during our Sunday live service. I am just waiting for God to finish what He is telling me now.
