BLANTYRE—A one year and eight months old boy from Chirimba Township, in Blantyre was crushed to death after a wall collapsed while asleep in the bedroom.

At the time of the incident which happened on Sunday, the boy’s mother, Dyna Tonga, was in the living room.

Results of a postmortem conducted at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital show that the boy suffered head injuries.

“No foul play suspected,” said Blantyre police spokesperson Lameck Thembachako.
