MZUZU—To prevent marriage breakups and gender based violence, a faith-based organization called Family Hope Counselling and care Network (FANET) has been formed in Zomba.

The organization will provide counseling to troubled families, says Executive Director, Fedelis Blessings Makaula.

He said couples in Zomba had divorced without valid reasons. As a faith based organisation, he said, FANET will be working with the clergy and the police victim support unit to provide counseling to families and those intending to get married.

He also said FANET will have psychologists and legal experts on its staff and expects the network to be introduced in other parts of the country.
