A warning to Malawi: Reject arrogance and manipulation in 2025

chakwera

Andimva kuwawa mpaka 2030

By Allan Ngumuya

When Malawians say, “He is arrogant,” that is exactly what he is—both in government and in church.

Mr. President, let me come straight to the point.

I am shocked and embarrassed by your careless statement: “Andimva kuwawa mpaka 2030.”

Really?

Mind you, you are not just addressing your political opponents.

No!

In our understanding as Malawians, you are speaking to all of us.

You have shown Malawians just how arrogant you truly are.

We heard about it a million times before we voted for you.

But we ignored it.

We convinced ourselves that you were a God-fearing man.

Little did we know that your true character is exactly what we have just witnessed.

You have been reminded by my senior, Honorable Felix Njawala, that you are in power not by force or fire.

No!

The people of Malawi chose you by voting.

We trusted you—not because we didn’t have another choice, but because we believed you were the right man for the job.

Now, we realize that we made a mistake.

We thought we knew you better than those from the Assemblies of God church who warned us about your arrogance.

Mr. President, they were right.

Indeed, you are arrogant.

Mind you, I am here to tell you that not even the late Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima trusted you.

Never!

He never did.

You must know that SKC died with doubts about you and your intentions.

I can repeat this statement before his spirit.

He never trusted you.

What you have said is true: “Tikumva kuwawa.”

But let me assure you, it will not be until 2030.

No!

It will be until September 16, 2025.

You will not remain in power through force or mere words.

Malawians will decide your fate.

Let me put it plainly: A Malawi sakukufunani pang’ono pomwe!

We don’t want you.

Right now, Malawians are suffering.

What more do you want from us?

Do you want to kill us all?

You have crushed us with high maize prices, soap prices, sugar prices, cooking oil prices, and corruption.

Your government has looted money from butcheries, pharmacies, and ministries.

Your ministers have stolen public funds, gotten rich overnight, and disappeared from the people they swore to serve.

And yet, you stand on TV and radio claiming you will not leave office?

What do you mean by that?

Are you telling us that you will use force?

Or have you already rigged the elections?

This is my main question: Do you think Malawians are fools?

You are making a mistake.

Your statement has angered the people.

Why?

Because only a few blind loyalists and those living in darkness are still clapping hands for you.

But the majority have had enough!

Never again will Malawians allow themselves to be manipulated by you and MCP.

This time, the people are angrier than in 2020.

Now, Malawians have every reason to remove you from power.

You have tasted power, and now you are revealing your true self.

Thank you, Mr. President, for exposing yourself.

But remember, we put you in power with our votes.

And with our votes, we will remove you.

You will not intimidate us.

You will not plant fear in us.

Let me tell you something, and keep this in mind because it is the truth:

You are the worst president Malawi has ever had.

Stop reading what others write for you.

We see no leadership in you—only disaster.

There are people who dictate your every move and manipulate you.

They are fooling you.

And that is why Malawians do not want to continue with you.

Period.

As much as I have spoken about MCP and its failed leadership, let me also warn Malawians about the DPP.

Malawians, be careful.

We see certain men—and a woman—positioning themselves behind the DPP leadership.

Do not be deceived!

If you vote for DPP, you will suffer even more than you are suffering now.

They know that it will be their last term in office.

And like Makoswe okudya dzikolola kolola, they will loot everything they can before they leave.

Be careful, Malawians!

Your vote is your power.

In conclusion, I say this:

Vote for Dr. Dalitso Kabambe.

He is the economic engineer.

He is the only hope for Malawi’s youth and the true leader of today.

Malawians, please, let us stop clapping hands for thieves.

Wake up, Malawi!

We are tired of these manipulative politicians.

Let this message be repeated every single day until voting day!

Malawi must wake up!
