Achikulire says Hakainde Hichilema run an impressive campaign in Zambia

I have closely followed the heated Zambia presidential bye-elections campaign and I have been immensely impressed by the qualities displayed by one Presidential candidate called Hakainde Hichilema popularly known as HH.

The man has run the most organized campaign. The man has emerged to be the most articulate candidate in this campaign.

He is fearless, he allowed to be scrutinized by the public and even challenged the budding intellectuals at Zambia’s Universities when he went to the student’s backyard and articulated the issues to them.

The man has emerged to be the most serious candidate in the campaign.

It’s really logical to say that HH is the only candidate who has indeed fully prepared himself for the top job in Zambia. He is a hard worker. He has the vision for Zambia.

If compared to the elections we had in Malawi where we elected an opposition leader Peter Mutharika as President; the traits he showed during the campaign is exactly the same traits HH has shown in Zambia in this election.

Here in Malawi; the then opposition candidate Peter Mutharika articulated a good vision for Malawi during the build up to the election. At the time, he did not have the numbers but Malawians started understanding that Malawi has a future in him. Malawians started supporting him, they started loving him and at the end of the day, he won the elections.

If truth be told, our Peter Mutharika was not expected by many to win the election. The incumbent President Joyce Banda had all the resources at her disposal and she did all she could to retain power but Malawians gave her a red card.

Some Malawians said we couldn’t afford to have two presidents from the same family within a short period of time as we had his big brother late Bingu Wa Mutharika from 2004 to 2012. However, Mutharika defied the odds, from being the most loathed candidate to being the most loved one and here he is today; the President of the republic of Malawi.

By the way, it feels good to have an opposition candidate win an election. At least you breathe a sigh of relief more especially if you have a mediocre ruling party.

Let’s be honest; HH has articulated a brilliant vision for the Zambian country. The man seems to have not only wisdom but also intelligence.

Watching his recent campaign videos on his facebook page; you clearly see that the candidate is youthful, energetic and above all, he is a man of natural authority—you can even sample his voice to attest to this.

I believe this is the man worthy being a national face of a country. The way Kenyans feel proud of their President Uhuru Kenyatta is actually the way Zambia will be feeling if HH win this election.

I know propagandist have been launching blistering attacks on HH labeling him satanic. This is petty propaganda typical of losers. Our Malawian President, Peter Mutharika was labeled as gay here in Malawi saying he practices homosexuality. Malawians didn’t listen to that trash. We went ahead and still voted for him.

This is what I see happening in Zambia tomorrow.

I hear that HH’s main contender, Edgar Lungu shunned a Public Debate organized by Muvi TV.

It was not strange when I heard it. Here in Malawi, the then incumbent President Joyce Banda also did the same saying she was too busy campaigning.

Malawians were just watching such bravado and what happened at the end of the day; they gave her a red card on the ballot.

Back to HH, I have noted that almost all of the Opinion Polls put him as the favorite candidate. Thus how it happens when a candidate is to win.

Our Peter Mutharika was also leading in all opinion polls here in Malawi. We knew the man was destined for the job.

And I have just recently learnt that the Malawian Prophet Austin Liabunya who also prophesied that Malawi’s Peter Mutharika was to defeat the incumbent Joyce Banda during the polls also recently prophesied that HH will emerge the winner. You know the deal has been sealed. You just know that God in heaven has set the template for the Zambia election.

Hakainde Hichilema's Nomination 19th December 2014

Over and above this; I strongly believe that Hakainde Hachilema is the best candidate for the highest office of the republic of Zambia at this time.

And with this piece of writing, I, ACHIKULIRE, from Malawi hereby endorses Hakainde Hichilema for the top most job of the republic of Zambia! As someone rightly put it, please also accept my advance congratulations in advance as you take up the Zambian Presidency as the 6th President.
