The Malawi State House has informed the media and general public that His Excellency the State President, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will return home on Tuesday 16th June, 2015 from South Africa where he attended the 25th African Union-AU Summit.
Before proceeding to South Africa, the President was in North Africa Egypt where he attended the Tripartite Meeting on Free Trade Area-FTA for the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa-COMESA, Southern Africa Development Community-SADC and the East African Community-EAC.
Hopefully the trip enlightened President Mutharika on the much dreamed about Freeway from Cape to Cairo. This dream highway would connect Africa and bring prosperity to the Continet.
The President is expected to arrive at the Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe at 11 o’clock in the morning.
