BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Airtel Top 8 Cup is set to return for another three years, from 2024 to 2026, with an increased sponsorship package of MK655 million, up from the previous MK234 million.
This significant boost in funding translates to a MK20 million investment per game, demonstrating Airtel’s commitment to promoting football in Malawi.
Airtel Malawi’s Managing Director, Charles Kamoto, announced the return of the competition, highlighting the company’s dedication to supporting local football.

The winner of the Airtel Top 8 Cup will receive K30 million, an increase from the previous MK17.5 million.
The losing finalist will receive K10 million, while all participating teams will receive MK2.5 million.
Additionally, player of the tournament winner will receive MK1.5 million, the top scorer will receive MK1 million, and the Man of the Match will receive K100,000, an increase from the previous MK50,000.
