The opposition and their supporters were beside themselves attacking the youngest MP in Malawi for the crime of making partisan remarks

Her crime was to urge traditional leaders and ordinary villagers never to be in attendance of political rallies organised by other parties other than the Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP).

However Political pundit one Former President Bakili Muluzi is having none of it. He shamed her detractors by reminding them, that when Joyce Banda had a shade from the president Peter Mutharika, everyone came out to defend “a woman” but when this courageous young and charismatic lady Fyness Mwagonjwa, probably more stronger than all MP’s – stood up and excised her right to freedom of speech, many insulted her without seeing she’s a woman.
