Blue Eagles reserves cling on CRFA’s FAM Moto summit

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The young Eagles soaring as they have produced a perfect start to the 2023 MK15 million FAM MOTO division one league.

Blue Eagles RSV FC currently lead group B in week 5 with 9 points from 3 games,they have scored 15 goals and conceded 1.

Over the weekend, Eagles smashed Simlemba United FC 5-0 at home Nankhaka with goals from Chimwemwe Katumwe a brace at 12′ and 23rd minutes, Gannie Witness at 40th minute, Moses Mtago 44th and Umali Mustapher at 58th minute respectively.

However, Eagles have to treat their second placed counterpart Mitundu Baptist FC with caution as they are tied on 9 points only goals are separating the two.Mitundu have scored 6 and conceded 2 with goal difference of 4.

In group A of the first tier Nsaru United FC and Mitundu Strikers FC are also enjoying good form.

Nsaru is on top with 10 points from 4 games scoring 14 goals and conceding 1 while Mitundu Strikers FC have 9 points from 3 games scoring 6 goals and they are yet to concede.

Young Professionals from Ntcheu district leads group C with 9 points from 3 games as the team has managed to score 6.

Young Talent Mapokezi FC, Lizulu Super Stars FC and Chatoloma ADMARC FC are tied on 6 points occupying positions 2,3 and 4 respectively due to goal differences.

29 goals have been scored in 9 games of week 5 in the central region FAM MOTO division one league.

Four teams from each group will qualify to the last 12 where they will be playing on a league format.

The top three teams will automatically be promoted to the Malawi’s second tier league in the central region.
