I killed Bob Marley, ex-CIA agent confesses

79-year-old Bill Oxley, ex-agent of America’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is re-writing the history of the death of reggae legend Bob Marley, claiming he actually killed the legend. Marley tragically died aged only 36-years-old, leading music lovers world-wide to grieve as the Jamaican icon’s life and career were cut short following a four-year battle with cancer.

According to dailyadvent.com, the story of cancer may seem untrue as startling claims have emerged from a deathbed confession made by an ex-CIA officer, where he admitted to the killing. Oxley is alleged to have claimed the murder of Marley among 17 other assassinations for the American government between 1974 and 1985, at a time when he said the CIA “was a law unto itself.”

Oxley, who reportedly worked as an operative for the CIA for 29 years, is alleged to have said he was often used as a hitman on targets deemed to “represent a threat to the interests of the United States.”

In a purported interview shared widely online, he admitted having no problem with proceeding with the Bob Marley assassination because “I was a patriot, I believed in the CIA, and I didn’t question the motivation of the agency – I’ve always understood that sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the greater good.”

According to the conspiracy theory, Oxley used faked press credentials to gain access to Bob Marley at his Blue Mountain retreat; introducing himself as a famous photographer working for the New York Times, and gave Bob Marley a gift. “I gave him a pair of Converse All Stars. Size 10. When he tried on the right shoe, he screamed out ‘OUUUCH.‘ “That was it. His life was over right there and then. The nail in the shoe was tainted with cancer viruses and bacteria. If it pierced his skin, which it did, it was goodnight nurse.”

“There had been a series of high-profile assassinations of counter-culture figures in the United States in the late sixties, early seventies. By the time Bob Marley’s time came around, we thought subtlety was the order of the day. No more bullets and splattered brains.” Mr. Oxley says he kept close contact with Marley during the final years of his life, ensuring the medical advice he received in Paris, London and the United States “would hasten his demise rather than cure him.” “The last time I saw Bob before he died he had removed the dreadlocks, and his weight was dropping like a stone,” he says. “He was very withdrawn, unbelievably small. He was shrinking in front of us. The cancer had done it’s job.”

Although widely dismissed as fiction, the account does tally with findings by UK scientists in 2014, who discovered the mysterious acral melanomas – the rare type of skin cancer that caused reggae musician’s demise – was in fact not caused by the sun.

Bob Marley’s soon Ziggy has previously implied his Father was killed, saying in a 2013 interview about the death: “I don’t know what to believe … there are a lot of theories.”

In the late 1970s, Jamaica was flooded with cheap guns, heroin, cocaine, right-wing propaganda, death squad rule and, as Grenada’s Prime Minister Maurice Bishop described it three years later, the CIA’s “pernicious attempts [to] wreck the economy.” “Destabilization,” Bishop told the emergent New Jewel Party, “is the name given the most recently developed method of controlling and exploiting the lives and resources of a country and its people by a bigger and more powerful country through bullying, intimidation and violence.”

In response to the fascistic machinations of the CIA, Marley wove his lyrics into a revolutionary crucifix to ward off the cloak-and-dagger “vampires” descending upon the island.

The CIA, which has denied any involvement in Marley’s death, has been approached for a comment.

MP Kabwira leads Ex-MYP member Helema’s burial who died in road accident

SALIMA-(MaraviPost)- The main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Salima North-West Constituency, Dr. Jessie Kabwila on Tuesday led hundreds of mourners in burying  former Malawi Young Pioneers (MYP) member Helema.

The late Helema who was among Ex-MYP currently holding vigil at Kamuzu Memorial Tower-Area 18 in the capital Lilongwe, has gone without getting his dues.
Former MYP members have been on vigil since July 2017 demanding the quick payment of their terminal benefits that the Government owes them as civil servants.
Despite Malawi government promising to meet their demands, a year and three months have elapsed without fully paying them.

My Take On It: Mourning Prof. David Rubadri, last of Malawi’s first five ambassadors

“His master replied, ‘Excellent! You are a good and faithful servant! You’ve been faithful over a little. I’ll put you in charge of much. Come, celebrate with me.’ – Matthew 25:21. Complete English Bible.

In the months of August and September 2018, Malawi lost giants in its professional ranks, professionals whose contributions to the country’s development gives all Malawians cause to weigh in appreciating the role in our history.

In August, Malawi lost its longest, and for decades the sole, pediatrician in the country, former Chief Pediatrician at Malawi’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital Dr. Anke Bergstein.

In September and within one week, the country lost three academicians Professor Boyce Wanda, the first Malawian head of the Law and Public Administration at Chancellor College. Professor Wanda’s passing was following by the death of Professor David Mphande, of the Livingstonia University. Professor Mphande taught at Mzuzu University before joining politics where he served in various portfolios in th Bingu wa Mutharika Administration. Professor David Rubadiri’s passing on September 15, 2018, brings to three the number of academicians that Malawi has lost  and within days of each other.

While mourning these three academicians, I recall also that Professor Rubadiri was the remaining person of Malawi’s first ambassadors that were appointed by Dr. Banda at the dawn of independence in 1964. The first five, were among the freedom fighters that were detained in Gwero and Khami detention camps in Rhodesia (present Zimbabwe), were Ambassador Vincent Gondwe (Malawi envoy to Ethiopia),  High Commissioner Bridger Katenga ((Malawi envoy to Kenya), Ambassador Tim Mangwazu (envoy to Germany), High Commissioner Nyemba Mbekeani (envoy to Great Britain – now United Kingdom), and Ambassador/Permanent Representative Professor David Rubadiri (envoy and representative to US and UN).

The first to pass among the five was Ambassador Bridger Katenga; he was followed by Ambassador Vincent Gondewe; Ambassador Tim Mangwazu followed Gondwe; he was followed by Ambassador Mbekeani. Their colleague, Ambassador Professor Rubadiri was the last of the first envoys who carried Malawi’s torches in foreign countries, serving and leading the country in the realm of diplomacy under the tutelage of Dr. Banda (who had lived outside the country and knew the terrain of international diplomacy.)

According to family records, Professor David Rubadiri was born on July 19, 1930. During his life, the celebrated statesman and English professor was a diplomat, academic, poet, playwright and novelist. independence.

His milestone timeline:

At independence, in 1964, Rubadiri was appointed Malawi’s first ambassador and permanent representative to the United States and the United Nations (respectively).

As cabinet ministers in 1965 revolted and left Banda’s government, Ambassador Rubadiri broke with Banda due to ties with Apartheid South Africa.

During his exile Rubadiri served in various universities and was vice chancellor at University of Botswana when Bakili Muluzi appointed him to return to the UN. He later served as vice chancellor at University of Malawi and later at Mzuzu University.

Nation reported that Professor Rubadiri died at Mzuzu Central Hospital on September 15 2018, a day after celebrating his 61st wedding anniversary; he was 88. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Uzanda, 10 children, 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Prof. David Rubadiri, last of Malawi’s first five ambassadors. May his soul rest in God’s eternal loving peace.
