LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Lazarus Chakwera is back to the capital after successfully carried state duties in Blantyre.
Chakwera arrived safely with heroic welcome at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) on Thursday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Malawi leader is expected to preside over Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM)’s Economic Symposium at 60 slated for Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe on Friday, July 18.
“President Chakwera will tomorrow Friday, 18 July 2025 visit the Reserve Bank of Malawi and thereafter preside over the Opening Ceremony of the Economic Symposium of Reserve Bank of Malawi at 60 at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe,” reads Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba’s presidential diary.
