Chakwera renames Lilongwe Six Lane road to “Chilima Highway”

MZIMBA-(MaraviPost)-In a poignant tribute to the late Vice President Saulos Chilima, President Lazarus Chakwera has announced that the Lilongwe Six Lane Road will be renamed “Chilima Highway”.

This decision comes as the nation continues to mourn the loss of the esteemed leader.

He emphasized the importance of unity and respect, urging Malawians to come together in solidarity rather than politicizing tragedy.

The President’s announcement was made during a memorial event in Mzimba,where he paid heartfelt tribute to the late Vice President.
