LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The People’s Republic of China handed over complete technical colleges to the Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Labour on Monday, February 21, 2022.
In a press release signed by Aubrey Matemba secretary for ministry of labour expresse delighted with the new five Community Technical Colleges that has been constructed by the People’s Republic of China.
“We are happy to announce to the general public that the Five Community Colleges constructed by the People’s Republic of China have been officially handed over to us,” the labour ministry conceited
Represented by the Chinese Embassy in the country who handed over the Colleges to the Malawi Government through the Ministry of Labour.
The five colleges are in Zomba, Ntcheu, Mulanje, Nsanje and Mzimba.
However according to the agreement between the two countries, the people’s Republic of China will be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and facilities within the two years after the handover.
