LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Central Region Football Association (CRFA) who govern the MK15.5 million Chipiku Stores Premier Division and Division one league is facing major challenges of match venues.
This has been revealed by the Vice general Secretary of the Association, Antonio Sanchez Manda, while justifying why games in the league did not take place last week.

Manda said the committee is currently having playing grounds problems as the stadia which they used last season, Civo,Silver and Nankhaka are restricted to be used by the premier division teams.
He added they have many teams residing within the city of Lilongwe but the only venue available for the matches is Lilongwe Community Center ground which is not enough for the successful of the league.
“We sat down as committee to map the way forward on how to overcome the challenge. We are heading to the right direction and this coming weekend games will be played”, Manda said.
Until this day some other premier division teams are yet to pay the affiliation fees in full, however Manda denied this as one of the reasons the league did not take place last week.
“We are a considerate committee,we know they don’t have sponsors our Chairman Austin Ajawa gave a go ahead to those teams who have shown commitment to participate in the league to be given games.
“Let me assure all Malawians who follow our league that now the venue problems is sorted out and that games will be played as normal”, Manda added.
