LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The seventh new born son in CRFA family to represent them in the TNM Super League has been confirmed and his name is Dedza Dynamos.
Central Region Football Association on Wednesday 8th December 2021 finally declared Dedza Dynamos as the champions of the MK14.5 million Chipiku Stores Premier Division league on a ceremony which took place at Kasungu Stadium in Kasungu District.
A replay game between Wimbe United and Dedza Dynamos spiced up the event on that beautiful afternoon.
It was an entertaining game in which the visitors displayed beautiful football in all halves.
The host Wimbe United were a marvel to watch few minutes in the first half but failed to score while the visitors scored at 30th minute through their captain, Charles Chipala.
In the second half the visitors were on fire,ruling in almost all the departments no wonder at 47th minute, captain Chipala netted his second goal to make sure Dedza Dynamos finishes the 2020/2021 Chipiku Premier division league with 23 points and book themselves a ticket to play in the elite league next season.
After the game Dedza Dynamos Coach, Christopher Ruba Zinyongo, was delighted for the victory describing it as a good game in which they controlled good part.
He further said it was difficult journey with a mixed fortunes. He then added that they will look for some experienced players to beef up their squad as they prepare for the TNM Superleague journey.
Jamu Binali, Wimbe United Coach, congratulated their counterparts, Dedza Dynamos FC, for winning the league and earning promotion into the Super League.
Binali added that it was difficult season.He also said the approach of today’s game was different as they rested their key players.
Chipiku Stores Regional Manager, Dennis Kamnyamata, was impressed with the way the league has been managed despite some few hiccups and promised to sit down with CRFA to see how best they can rectify the challenges which were encountered.
He was, however, concerned with clubs for not buying products from their stores which he also said it has to be discussed with Central Region Football Association.
Vice General Secretary for CRFA, Antonio Sanchez Manda, said their Committee is happy for concluding the league.
He further added it was a good journey which started in April,describing this season as special despite the 10th October incident involving Wimbe United and Dedza Dynamos in which their game was abandoned.
“Let me also applaud the referees as they have managed the league well,no serious violences were recorded as it has been the case in the previous seasons which tells you that we are now on the right track”, says.
Dedza Dynamos has taken the number of Superleague teams from Central region to seven,the other teams are as follows; Blue Eagles FC, MAFCO FC, Kamuzu Barracks FC, TN Stars, Civil Service United and Silver Strikers FC.
