Define your beauty

Beutiful
Beauty

I live in a city, and am sure just by mentioning the term city, and I divert your attention to girls and women, most of you have already made the mistake of concluding about the pretty ladies I bump into every second in every step I take. I don’t blame you. I thought so too and to some extent, I still have it that ladies in town are more beautiful than those in the remote places. Allow me however, to differ with this practically.

I had some tours out of the city. Far to that isolated places where making a living for those you call city queens will be hell. As if that’s not enough, it’s actually just 45KM from the outskirts of the city, but it takes you 7 hours driving to the place. And I guess you know the speed I was using. I don’t even think I made to 20KM/H, but since it was a tour and I was on holiday, I had nothing to complain. Men, I tell you, there I met un-powdered cute faces that have only known Blue Seal Vaseline. Who could blame them? Being a stranger, and in need of direction, I stopped, lowered the window and rudely called out to this “creature” as I thought of village girls. “Hey you! Can you be of some help?” As she was turning to face me, I almost got chocked. A fairly young lady whose beauty is far much incomparable. Yes, not just beauty s we define it here in town. This was natural beauty. And believe you me, no word you can utter can ever explain what I saw. And don’t try to help me explain here. Beauty lies in the eyes on the beholder.

The next time I managed to resume my jammed brain, the girl was politely kneeling down waiting for my words. I was humbled and here just before me, was what I never imagined to be found in the village. Remember am a town monger, but here I am, totally puzzled by the natural village beauty.

Ladies, your beauty is not an advert, nor a sign post. Real beauty goes beyond the facial appearance. So don’t you use to earn a living. It’s not about the makeup you use, and you don’t have to be that lady you know to be pronounced beautiful. It about the inner strength of a woman. It’s about the ability to shine in all gentleness and make the world understand and admire the type of a woman you are. Respect, kindness and ability to nurture, all tell what beauty is. No wonder many have made journeys to villages in search for a wife, only to end up being admired by those who make rush decisions that opt for makeup beauty that will vanish a single rain drop. I don’t know how many of you have ever admired a heavy makeup user when she is waking up in the morning. Honestly, I don’t.

I am not saying town and city girls are not beautiful but see what the bible says; 1 Peter 3:3-4 whose adorning let it be not be that outward adorning of not of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of Gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quit spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”

Take or leave it, I want you; yes you, to define your beauty. When that guy says you are beautiful, he might be meaning something different from what you think or take.

Once again, DEFINE YOUR BEAUTY
