LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The governing Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) seems to be panic a head of verdict in the on going Malawi Presidential election case in Lilongwe’s constitutional court.
This follows series of regional meetings which party gurus are strategising ahead of the court verdict.
In a memo, this publication has sourced within the blue camp is urging party supporters to be at the court as the session resumes tomorrow, Monday, November 25, 2019
The memo reads below:
Greetings to all members,
The Directorate of Operations of the mighty Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) wishes to urge and mobilize all members of the ruling party that as Constitutional Court reconvenes the electoral case from Monday November 25th from 8:30 am, our witnesses and legal team do ever more need our spiritual and moral support.
As the case is being winded up, the Grace that has been witnessed by the whole party has been tremendous. We will all need to keep up the faith, fighting spirit and togetherness as we defend our victory to the end.
This calls for the physical availability of all that are able to avail themselves at the court premises through and through. May God bless you all.

Opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and UTM Party are challenging the May 21 poll Presidential results.
The parties argue that Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) mismanaged the polls favouring incumbent President Peter Mutharika of DPP.
The case is expecting to end by December 20, 2019.
