BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-After holding a peaceful demonstrations in Blantyre on Monday, February 17, 2020 dubbed ” Restoration of Justice” to show discontent with the nullification of May 21, 2019 Presidential elections, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) plans to hold demonstrations in major cities of country starting with Zomba today, February 19, 2020.

DPP secretary general Grezedar wa Jeffrey told the news conference on Tuesday at the party’s headquarters in Blantyre that DPP intends to hold the demonstrations in major cities as the party is not amused with nullification of May 21 2019 Presidential elections.

She also said that as the party they have received information showing that members of other political parties are planning to wear DDP party regalia during the forthcoming demostrations with the intention to cause havoc in order to dent the image of the Party.

DPP secretary general warned those who are planning to such misconduct that the long arm of the Law will deal with them once caught.
