There was panic among people of Salima as they found an unknown Nigerian loitering around the shores of Lake Malawi in T.A Maganga Wednesday morning. When quizzed about his identity the man failed to communicate fluently to the local people as his English was not all that good.
The local community then started packing when Some quarters started speculating that the Nigerian might have escaped from Nkhatabay from the team which were suspected to have an Ebola suspect the previous week.
The local community then apprehended the man and reported him to health officials in the district and was later screened for Ebola but lucky enough the results came out Negative.
Currently the police are investigating the identity of the Nigerian and how he found himself in Salima.
