Flames Coach Apologies aside, FAM and Boss Nyamilandu bear full responsibility for another humiliating loss

The position at FAM should never have been about popularity, it should have been for someone who would once again lead us to glory.

FAM President Walter Nyamilandu

through 3 terms proved to be a failure so why did the powers in Malawi Football re-elect him again?

Malawi national football team coach Ernest Mtawali   apologized to the nation and football lovers after the Flames suffered a defeat to Guinea on Tuesday. History has shown again and again with Nyamilandu at the top Malawi Flames will never compete to win.

The Malawi Flames once again lost 2 -1 to another team they should have beaten at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre in a must win game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Malawi Coach was man enough to talk to the media while FAM President Walter Nyamilandu was somewhere sipping champagne or whatever he does when we suffer another humiliating defeat.

The Malawi coach admitted after the end of the match that the team deserved to lose because the boys didn’t perform as expected as they were ill-prepared. He should have continued to say FAM did not provide the tools for the team to win.

“I apologize to my fellow Malawians for the disappointing result, we didn’t play well today.”

“We will rectify the problem so as to do well in the remaining two games, an away game and a game at home against Zimbabwe,” said Mtawali

The Malawi Flames were favored to win this game by many observers and also had the needed motivation after their goalless draw with the team in Conakry.

The Malawi Flames are now at the bottom of the group L with four points after four matches.

Malawi will meet Zimbabwe in June in Zimbabwe before playing Swaziland at Kamuzu Stadium to wrap up their games in the group.

Nyamilandu has to go.
