Heavy rains coupled with strong winds in some parts of Chikwawa have blown off part of the district’s council offices.

The most affected departments are offices of human resource, computers office, finance and public works.

Chikwawa Court ‘s offices were not spared in the incident either.

A school block at Mitole Primary School has also suffered damage with its roofing blown off.
