BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-In a candid conversation, Miliward Tobias, an independent presidential candidate, shared his vision for Malawi’s future.
In an interview with Maravi Post, Tobias confirmed that he had collected nomination forms and paid the required fees to run for the highest office in the land.
With a resolute tone, Tobias declared that he would not form any alliances with political parties, citing his long-held conviction that party politics often lead to captured leaders who fail to deliver effective governance.
“I have said many times that political party presidents are captured and end up becoming another disaster of leadership,” Tobias stated firmly.
“I therefore cannot partner with the same formation I truly speak against. My stance is clear: I am an independent leader who will not be swayed by party allegiances or special interests.”
Tobias emphasized his commitment to integrity, economic management, and public service. “I am a person of high integrity,” he asserted.
“I know how to manage an economy, and I have experience in public service, so I know what it means to run a government.”
With these credentials, Tobias is confident that he can offer a fresh and viable alternative to Malawian voters.
As an independent candidate, Tobias believes that he can tap into the growing discontent among Malawians who feel disenfranchised by the traditional party system.
His campaign promises to focus on issues that matter most to ordinary citizens, from economic empowerment to improved public services
