LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-UTM presidential candidate, Dalitso Kabambe has ruled out the electoral alliance ahead of September 16 polls.
Kabambe argues, “Its too late for other political parties to form an electoral alliance with his party”.
Kabambe made the remarks during whistle-stop rallies in Lilongwe on Monday.
The UTM leader said that the ballot papers for presidential candidates have already been printed hence an alliance cannot work.
Kabambe added that during discussions with other parties on forming an electoral alliance, UTM accepted the position of running mate, but it did not work out with the other parties.
