Karonga actor shines with his new released film titled ‘Secrete’

After starring at the district level, the Malawian Karonga based actor Peter Simbowe is drawing rave reviews for his role in ‘Secrete Part one’ in which he is conveying the consequence messages of jealous.

Simbowe released his popular film in March this year and has sold thousands of copies in the northern region.

The Tumbuka-Chichewa translated film is also on highly demand to the South and Central part of the country because of its unique style of presentation.

“I developed the talent because of my ambition of watching Holly and Nolly-Wood films. And my yearning is put Malawi on the map by becoming an international actor,” said Simbowe in an interview.

He disclosed that “it took me three years to write the story because I want to convey the actual things that happened in life. What I want is for the Malawians to desist from being jealousy because it is a waste of time and affect developments.”

According to Simbowe, time has now come for Malawians to stop watching foreign films and like their fellows.

He also revealed his plan of releasing ‘Secrete Part two’ soon because of the demand but has asked his fans to be patient.

A 1978 born, Simbowe hails from Mwangamba village in the area of Traditional Authority Kilipula in Karonga and is married with one child.
