The police chief in Karonga district, Mr. Kelvin Mulezo, has warned people living in the Malimbalimba area not to approach a mysterious metallic object that allegedly fell from the sky in the area last night.
He stated that investigations are still ongoing, as the nature of the object remains unidentified.
Mulezo further explained that officials from the police headquarters in Lilongwe are expected to arrive in the district on Monday to conduct a thorough investigation regarding the object.
Last night, residents of the Malimbalimba area in Karonga district were startled by a loud noise and witnessed the falling of an unknown object, which is said to have crashed with considerable force.
