The governing Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Eastern region vice president Bright Msaka whistle  stops tour over the weekend in Machinga had low turn out putting the later in an awkward position of his popularity.

According to  sources Msaka and other DPP officials were visiting the grassroots.

This is coming as the party is conducting primary elections in constituencies without Members of Parliament (MP).
