Madinga joins Zambia’s Kansanshi Dynamos

LUSAKA-(MaraviPost)-Malawi’s international midfielder Francisco Madinga has sealed a two-year contract with Zambian Premier League outfit Kansanshi Dynamos.

The 26-year old who previously starred for Mighty Wanderers recently declined to extend his contract with the Blantyre giants, paving the way for a move abroad.

His decision sparked speculation about his next destination but Dynamos were quick to snap him up as they look to bolster their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Madinga brings valuable experience to the Zambian side having also featured for Georgia’s Dila Gori in the Erovnuli Liga.

His return to Southern Africa is expected to strengthen Dynamos’ midfield options and provide leadership to a relatively youthful squad.

Wanderers fans though disappointed by his departure, have expressed pride in seeing one of their own securing another international move.

Wanderers club has yet to announce a direct replacement for the midfield Madinga

For Kansanshi Dynamos, Madinga’s signing is seen as a statement of intent as they seek to compete strongly in the 2025/26 Zambia Premier League season.

The club believes his international exposure and versatility will be key in their push for a top-four finish.
