Malawi Court reserves ruling on Prophet Bushiri’s injunction against arrest

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The High Court Judge Kenyatta Nyirenda on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 reserved his ruling in a matter in which Enlightening Christian Gathering (ECG) leader Shepherd Bushiri obtained an injunction against his arrest by the Malawian authorities.

Justice Nyirenda however did not indicate when he will deliver his ruling on the matter.

Bushiri’s lawyer, Wapona Kita was over the moon saying that the Bushiris are free to go on with their lives in Malawi.

This comes as South Africa government applied for Prophet Bushiri and his wife Mary to be back in the rainbow nation for alleged fraud, money laundering charges.

There were hundreds of people at the court chatting songs in support of Prophet Bushiri while pleading for fair trial.

Prophet Bushiri and wife Mary are in Malawi for safety and fair trial.
