BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) will on Saturday conduct a Club Licensing and Gate Management System (GMS) seminar at the Mpira Village in Blantyre.
The day long seminar will bring together officials from FAM, Super League of Malawi (SULOM) as well as a representative from each of the 16 Super League Clubs.
FAM Club Licensing and Compliance Manager Casper Jangale said the seminar will look at the major club Licensing issues ahead of the 2020 Season.
“We have so many issues affecting our game which we must look into before the new season kicks off. Mainly we are going to look at Club Licensing regulations, administration and personnel as well as the Gate management system.
“The seminar will also highlight key areas for the 2020 football season and we will concentrate more on the financial criteria”, said Jangale.
According to Jangale, Gate Management System has been incorporated as a preamble to a Commercialization workshop to be held later on.
The GMS will be moderated by FAM Commercial Director Limbani Matola while Jangale will handle the Club Licensing part.
