LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Inspector General of Malawi Police Service George Kainja this week made appointment changes in Prosecution Department as one way of accommodating and rewarding ‘green jackets’ boys.

In memo dated January 28, 2021 in our possession OC Prosecution Dr.Mwabi Kalua has been posted to legal from Prosecution.

Kalua will be replaced by Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Levi Mangani.

Moja Phiri who was deputy director of prosecution has been sent to Head Central Region Police Headquarters prosecution.

Mrs . Zangazanga will be heading to Area 30 where she will be Deputy Director of Prosecution replacing Moja Phiri.

The shake up is seen as rewarding officers deemed to of key partners in Tonse administration, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) for easy operation.

But police authorities have disputed the claims arguing that the shake ups are normal duty changes carried time to time.
