LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi Police Service, Police Mobile Department (Alpha Division) has been saddened and shocked by the untimely demise of Sergeant Dickson Wyson.
According to Lingadzi Police Station report, No. B3852 Sergeant Dickson Wyson, aged 49, from Kaudzu Village in the Traditional Authority Sitola in Machinga, died at the Kamuzu Central Hospital while receiving treatment.
The Police report adds that on Sunday, October 20, 2024 around 04:00 hours, the said officer was crossing Kamuzu Procession Road from Petroda Filling Station side heading to area 30 main gate.
In the process, he was hit by an unknown motor vehicle, which did not stop after the incident.
Due to the impact, the rank sustained severe head injuries and multiple body fractures and was taken to Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) where he died while receiving treatment.
