Malawi education authorities in the northern region on Wednesday denied entry of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri to the Barracks. Bushiri wanted to visit his former school Moyale Barracks secondary school, Maravi Post has established.
The authorities claim that Bushiri did not book permission.
“It was around 1 PM today (yesterday), what happened was that Bushiri together with his gurus unexpectedly visited the school,” said our source.
“So after seeing him and his gurus at the gate, the authorities rushed to the scene and block the prophet from entering the gate. They said he was not allowed to enter without notification,” they explained.
According to our source, the man of God did not have any choice but to leave the area shamelessly.
“Up to now nobody knows what the prophet really want at the school but some people suspect that he was trying to see the problems the school is facing,” they disclosed.
Meanwhile, Bushiri ‘Major one’ is yet to issue a comment on the matter.
Some Malawians have concluded that the restriction was an order from the above especially because of the rumors that there is sour relationship between the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and the prophet.
The stone the folks reject will always be the head of the corner! Shame on the authorities! What’s the worst that could have happened if they had asked why and what instead saying no! Of course he was going through to give back, and not stir up any trouble. Prophet Shepard Bushiri is truly a man of God, and South Africa has him now. Could y’all imagine the jobs that he would have created with international visitors that goes to ECG in Pretoria. The govt should get a sock it, this man is not going anywhere.
In the first place, why didn’t the man of God give notice that he was visiting the place? It is our culture that we inform the owner of the place or house whenever there is a visit by anybody. Does he do this anywhere he goes? It is only the grave where the deceased does not say odi!! This man does not have manners, and he should apologise to the men and women of our defence. What people should know is that not all Malawians recognize him as a man of God. Some people look from another angle and see him as a man from the dip sea hence view him as a dangerous man in a society. So he is not supposed to step at any place he wants without informing owners of the area. That was impudence at its best.
They just missed a huge blessing from God that day. He was sent there. A prophet don’t move on his own accord. Too bad.
What a great shame to this so called authorities. Up until when will we realize that the best of things do not happen with notification. What could Major 1 be looking for in his former school apart from donating to the poor school or students in need. Why can’t he be given the chance to prove if his intentions are for good or bad instead of the so called authorities always trying to think for him.
What a loss to the poor school ,a lot could hve been donated .He is a good man of God
