Malawi registers second COVID-19 death in Lilongwe

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Reports reaching The Maravi Post reveal that Malawi has again registered second COVID-19 death.

The publication understands that patient was tested positive for Coronavirus on Friday, April 10, in the capital in Lilongwe Area 25B died today, Saturday, April 11.

The deceased who name remained undercover his wife has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Sources at Lilongwe District Hospital Office (DHO) confirmed the death saying there were three people in the household, one was manning their shop and is now on surveillance.

The country’s authority is yet to make official communication on the matter.

As of April 10, Malawi had nine cases of COVID-19 with one death.
