LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-TNM Super League teams have hailed Aubrey Dimba for organising his MK2.5 million Trophy in Mchinji saying it has assisted them in scouting the players at large.
Some of the clubs who are said to have benefited from the Trophy are Civil Service United, Blue Eagles FC, Kamuzu Barrack FC just to mention a few.
Eliah Kananji, Blue Eagles FC Coach and Gabriel Chirwa, team Manager for Civil Service United, have both recommended Aubrey Dimba saying for the past seasons teams have been wasting time and resources when conducting trials which could go up to three weeks.
But with the just ended tournament in Mchinji, teams will spend little time doing trials as they have already scouted more players who will just need to be monitored and have final assessment on them.
“We have spotted some players which we will call to try their luck as we start our preparations for 2022 season. Our job has been reduced now and let me applaud Mr Dimba for the good job he is doing in Mchinji; he has developed the clubs and players in the district and the country at large. He has to continue with what he is doing”, says Chirwa.
“Let me thank Aubrey Dimba for the passion he has for the sport,he is helping us as coaches in scouting talented young players, as Blue Eagles FC we have spotted some who will play for our team but we can not reveal now. He should keep on”, said Kananji.
Tournament sponsor Aubrey Dimba who is a businessman at Nthema Trading Center,Kapiri Mchinji has vowed to come up with another big tournament in the year 2022.
He further said, people should expect to see teams from Zambia,Mozambique in the next tournament.
