LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The National Youth Network on Climate Change (NYNCC) in collaboration with Jesuit Centre for Ecology and Development, Malawi Scotland Partnership, Climate Justice Watch and other organizations are spearheading Malawi Youth Climate Action and Climate Justice campaign whose aim is to build the momentum towards COPs27.

Evans Davie Njewa Chief environmental officer told preparatory meeting on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 that “This is part of capacity holders meeting which is very useful as the youths are taking lead on the continental youth convergence”.
“The government is taking this very serious as to any fund provided in this section will directly help the issues of climate change”.

NYNCC National Coordinator Dominic Nyasulu says, “We are focusing on teaching the youth to be leaders in this campaign, so far so good the process is taking bigger steps”.
However, Malawi government with other nations are advancing in building resilience to the negative impacts of climate change in connection with COP27.
