Malawian experts embark on implementing ground water project

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-As the country join the world in cerebrating world water day on 25 March ,Water experts in the country is set to embarked on how to deal with ground water using technology.

The experts drawn from three water boards ,Lilongwe ,Mzuzu and Blantyre and other stakeholders are meeting in the capital Lilongwe.

In an interview with Blantyre Water Board (BWB)’s Engineer Robert Hajahaja observes that access to ground water is equivalent to access of technology.

Hajahaja said that the meeting also equips universities to be advanced in dealing with ground water project.

He said the meeting will help the experts to find out issues on the ground and correct the better way of dealing with the ground water.

This years world water day will be cerebrated under the theme “Making the invisible visible” that water Minister Abida Mia graced the commemoration.

Mia will visit the new tank at six miles in the capital Lilongwe.

The meeting brought together, universities, non governmental organizations, civil society and twater experts including Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu water boards.
