ATLANTA (MaraviPost): Malawians in Atlanta and neighboring cities in different states plan to break bread with Malawi US Ambassador Justice Esme Jynet Chombo tomorrow on Sunday.
Justice Esme Jynet Chombo is the Ambassador of the Republic of Malawi to Washington, DC in the United States of America (USA). She was appointed in June 2021 by , the President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera.
The Malawi Diaspora is excited to meet and greet the Ambassador. They are also looking forward to having the Ambassador address some issues that they face in the Diaspora. A few such issues are.
- What is the Malawi Government doing to encourage Diaspora engagement and investments. So far what they have gotten is lip service with no concrete plans to achieve these objectives.
- How Malawians can get or renew passports
- What efforts are being undertaken by our government to reduce corruption that has affected every government since multi-party rule.
