Malawi’s late politician Aleke Banda’ daughter Chacha celebrates 46th birth by donating to Ministry of Hope Crisis Nursery

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Chawezi Banda Aka “Chacha”, the daughter of the late renown Malawi’s politician Aleke Banda on Thursday, March 11, 2021 celebrated her 46th birth by donating assorted items to Nkhoma CCAP’s Ministry of Hope Crisis Nursery in the capital Lilongwe.

Chacha who is based in USA through MUPACHO Initiative donated items including food, clothes, groceries and among others that will carter about 15 kids the nursery look after.

Speaking after receiving the donated items Ministry of Hope Crisis Nursery’s in-charge Catherine Thom lauded Chacha for timely support saying she has offered what was requested.

Thom says the facility lacks space to accommodate more needy kids hence the need for another building.

She therefore appealed to other able individuals, institution to emulate Chacha’s gesture with support to needy facilities.

“We keep the kids ranging from birth to two years and up to the time are adopted by well-wishers. This means the facility need much support for the kids to grow well hence Chacha’s support is timely,” lauds Thom.

MUPACHO Initiative Director Chris Loka commended Chacha for responding to his grouping request to reach out to the needy.

Loka assured the nation that his initiative will continue to inspire youths to support the needy with little available.

“Young people are encouraged to use little available to them to help the needy. Our initiative just facilitate the role of inspiring young people in Secondary Schools. We will continue to engage individuals including Chacha to reach out to the needy for changing others lives for the better,” assures Loka.

Chacha’s mother, Grace Banda expressed happiness on the legacy her husband left through children charity work.

Banda therefore encourages others daughters to do little to needy communities saying it pleases God.

“We thank God for the life of my daughter for charity work she does yearly. Let’s keep on helping the needy,” urges Chacha’s mother.

Yearly, during her birthday, Chacha carries charity work.
