BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi Police in Mzimba are hunting for a man namely Watson Tembo for suspected inflicting wounds on his wife’s head which later led to her to her death bed.

Mzimba district deputy police spokes person John Nyirongo, says the incident occurred March 24, 2021 at Mjinge village in the area of Inkosi Mmbelwa.

Aged 45 Mefa Kumwenda died from being abused yet if she opened up or report to the police as untimely death could be avoided.

This has left the police stranded as they are looking for ways on how to make women talk yet the gender likes keeping secrets in hoping for change or being criticized instead dying inside.

This comes while the government is on the move fighting against Gender based violence some women are promoting it by keeping quite when physically and emotionally abused.

A lot of women are dying as of today being abused or either being raped as they don’t talk hence protecting the criminals.

Minister of Gender Patricia Kaliati keeps on encouraging women to speak out “When are being abused “at least talk to someone or go to the police to explain so the law can take its course but that will happen only when you open up”.
