Malawi’s NASAF President James Nyondo dies

One of the Malawi’s 2014 tripartite presidential candidates for National Salvation Front (NASAF) James Nyondo has passed away the night of July 17, 2015 at Stephen bibcock clinic in Republic of South Africa (RSA).

 

The late Nyondo’s brother Fiskani has confirmed the development to the Maravi Post Saturday, Morning July 18, 2015 that the NASAF President was on and off from the hospital until July 13, 2015 when he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

“He has been suffering for sometimes and he was once admitted but we didn’t know what he was suffering until on July 13, 2015 when he was admitted again but this time was diagnosed with lung cancer. But doctors have us hope that he might be fine which came to our shock hearing that our brother was no more last night”

“The late Nyondo was one of our family members’ pillars that his death is devastation to the entire family. We will miss him a lot”, explains Fiskani.

According to Fiskani burial arrangement for the late Nyondo will be known soon as parents in Lilongwe and those in her home village Chitipa district were coordinating as to where the deceased will be buried.

Nyondo died at the age of 47, survived by a wife and three children, two sons and a daughter.
