NKHATABAY-(MaraviPost)-Member of Parliament for South Constituency in Nkhatabay Dr Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma who is also Malawi Congress Party (MCP)’ National Director of Strategic plan has been praised by constituents for honouring his promise by donating an Ambulance and four maize mills, two for grinding and two for peeling.
Donated Ambulance will be serving in the constituency for three Health Centres; Kande, Kachere, Liuzi and Tukombo Dispensary.
This follows development meeting Zikhale had with constituents at Kalowa Primary School and Chifira CDSS.
“We are amazed and out of words for what he has done to us. He has brought so much Developments in Our constituency in just a year that others couldn’t do it. We are very sure that our Constituency will have so much Developments within five years.
“As we Speak now, it’s not only an Ambulance and maize mill that he has brought to us, we now have piped water, very safe for our Health,” chiefs explained.
Rodney Simwaka Nkhatabay’s District Commissioner of Nkhatabay lauded the donation as timely.
“We are very happy to actually witness the donation of an Ambulance and Grinding Mill to the Community. In case of ambulance, Nkhatabay District Council has a cute shortage of ambulances. That is to say, the number of ambulances we have versus the proportion, those ambulances are serving they do not tally,” he said.
Dr Ng’oma assured constituents of continual developmental projects in the area.
“What I have done here it’s not for myself but for the people in this Constituency. The donation will help to develop this Constituency and the lives. This constituency should expect more developments, which are coming Within this five years. Let the committee run their duties accordingly so that what has been given to them today, should last long,” he assured.
Later in the afternoon the lawmaker held a rally drumming up support for Tonse Alliance for the forthcoming fresh presidential elections.
