NTCHEU-(MaraviPost)-Opposition UTM Party is said to be getting grounds with the coming of new members joining.
Latest is Member of Parliament (MP) for Ntcheu North East Arthur Chipungu who on Thursday, April 9, 2020 joined UTM
Chipungu, an Independent beat Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Overton Chimulirenji during the May 21, 2019 elections.
UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati, Director of Publicity Dr. Chidanti Malunga among other top officials welcomed the legislator at Kabekete Scottish CDSS in the district.
UTM is into electoral alliance with Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Peoples Party (PP), Alliance For Democracy (Aford), Mafunde, Freedom Party (FP) and others ahead of fresh presidential elections.
