
NTCHEU-(MaraviPost)-Ntcheu district council says there is a good progress in the construction of the much awaited Ntcheu stadium.
According to the acting director of public works of Ntcheu district council Godfully Njoka said that they are making a good progress in the construction of the Ntcheu stadium.
“We are done with part of the stands and now we are doing part of the V.I.P stands and now we are in the second phase of the construction, we are waiting for two more drawings to be given by the contractors ” he said.
Njoka also said that they have already belt abolition Brock’s and ticketing blocks as of now.
He however added that besides the good progress the council is facing technical problems including late submission of drawings from from supervisors since the drawings, heavy rains and among things.
The stadium was supposed to be completed in April this year but likely to be on September or October 2020 because of the rains the council will not be able to finish on time.
The construction of the stadium started in 2017 and it was supposed to be completed in 2018 pegged at MK4.6 billion .
