Malawi Local Government Association (MALGA) President, who is also councilor for Mpenu ward in Lilongwe has called upon the youths to refrain from immoral behavior to avoid contracting HIV and Aids virus.
Chaziya was speaking in his ward when he presided over the finals of football matches of his Chaziya Trophy.
Chaziya who is also chairman of Lilongwe District Council said youths are the future leaders of this country.
Chaziya said youths are the champions of change since they are energetic
“You are drivers of development that is why I came here and set up this small league so that at least you can have something to do so that you are protected from other un commissioned activities,” Said Chaziya.
Speaking during the ceremony Group Village Headman Katondo commended Chaziya for the youth initiative that he brought in the area.
Katondo said the football trophy will assist the crime so that it is free from criminal activities. Youths have been crying louder that government is side lining them.
