BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-A teacher at Kangwere Primary School in Mchinji Dennis Banda is reported to have taken his own life following marital misunderstandings with his wife.

Education Manager for Mchinji, Nellie Kamtedza, has confirmed of incident with local media saying Banda,34, who was working under Ludzi Zone, was found hanging in his garden.

Kamtedza said Banda had a suicide note in his pocket an evidence that the suicide decision was due to marital misunderstanding with his wife.

There have been concerns of cases of suicide in Malawi.

For instance, in the month of October this year, 58 people are reported to have committed suicide due to debts and marital disputes problems.
